I had recently come out of a divorce, the property we owned being split in two I had money that i wanted looking after while i sorted myself out. It was Chris I turned to for help and advice.

Since those early days there have been many ups and downs in my life, as every person does I must say. Chris has been with me every step on the way, twice a year personal visits to review my situation and any time I may have a query to get in touch via email or phone.

Gosh what a question, i could mention lots of things that have rocked the UK boat these last 20 years, I do feel that I have come through as well as I could hope for.... better things to come? I hope so.

In our mid 40's we were at an age where Finances were becoming a priority for us to consider for our long term security. We had a number of different pension pots and finance accounts that we wanted to consolidate.

At our first meeting with Chris he initially reviewed what we had, then gave us options to improve the performance of our finances. He conducted a Risk Profile for each of us which allowed us to consider the options that we would be most comfortable with.

I had funds to invest that i felt i needed more care than just what a Building Society deposit would give me.

We meet up every six months to spend time going over if my needs have changed and what, if anything, we may do to alter my investments for better return.

Over the last 20 years or so things have changed an awful lot, investments had a good return but for reasons everybody knows things have not been great these last years. I think the outcome has to be viewed with realism, I think its been as good as it could be.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I needed financial help as over the years I had collect alot of different private and work pensions and realsied they were probably not working the best for me and I wanted to look towards the future and providing my self with financial security
