At retirement I received a lump sum and needed expert advice on investment. At that time, i chose the company for which David Macintosh now works, although at that time he was not the person who was my advisor. When that person retired this year, David took on the role for me,

Above and beyond my expectation.

What could they have done better?

I can’t think of anything that could have been improved once we had met and started the process of review. There was a bit of hiatus between the retirement of the previous person and getting started with David, but that was understandable if he was taking on a number of clients at the same time (and it was also at the start of the first Covid pandemic lockdown).

I needed specialist pension advice for transferring from a defined benefit pension scheme.
