What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I was unhappy with the lack of flexibility in managing my pension from the last provider - we'd have annual meetings and there would never really be anything that could be done. I had a SIPP and a scattered portfolio of Defined Contribution pensions and the SIPP never quite matched the performance of the smaller funds.

How has Michael McLintock helped you?

Reviewed all the schemes and funds and costs - and on a case by case basis assessed the benefit and cost of holding as is or moving them into a new SIPP. Also looked at the value represented by some of the savings products I was using.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

It's too early to tell - but I have made changes that I think will improve the performance of the assets and reduce the costs of delivery.

We came into a lot of money and were looking for best advice on how to invest our money and help us to have a long term financial plan .
