I have worked in financial services in one guise or another since 2001. Throughout that time I have held almost every position possible within various financial advice businesses. From an office administrator at a large national firm to paraplanning and research positions for a small local IFA, through to the compliance team which helped to launch a new start-up and then into advisory roles. First with a large national discretionary management firm and then with a smaller boutique IFA in Ilkley. With pretty much everything in between! This breadth of experience gives me a unique understanding of the industry having seen things from the ground up, from the perspective of small IFA’s offering very personal services and large national asset managers offering brand name security to clients. Now as Managing Director of HF Wealth that previous knowledge and experience puts me in a perfect position to appreciate what makes each part of a good IFA team tick, ensuring clients get the best possible experience and service.
