Whilst still working, issues around my NHS Pension and best options for investing savings and lump sums.

Leanne has been extremely helpful. She is a very knowledgeable, professional and approachable advisor. I have known her for years, and always valued and appreciated her advice, which has been excellent.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes, apart from in terms of global events temporarily affecting everyone's stocks and shares, etc, to some extent. But following Leanne's advice, recovery has been good, and she has helped us to create a diverse portfolio which suits our circumstances very well.

What could they have done better?

Nothing. I can't fault Leanne's service.

I was initially introduced to Leanne almost 10 years ago. Going with Leanne as my IFA was the best move I have made.

Leanne continues to exceed all my expectations. If she says she will do something, she does. Leanne does a lot of other things to help and rarely charges for her time. She is friendly, polite and has proved to be very good at her job. I don’t know what I would do if she ever decided to give her job up. A true professional.

We have received the good quality financial advice we were hoping for. Of course we do not yet know whether the long-term financial gains will be as hoped for. This is the only reason I have scored one question as a 4 rather than a 5. However, the funds she advised look very promising.

Nothing strikes me. Leanne was very helpful and explained things that were unfamiliar to us clearly.

Leanne looked at all our pensions and savings as a couple and gave advise based on what we wanted to achieve - she looked into the options for my pension, which she agreed would benefit from moving to another provider. She is friendly and approachable and can explain things to a non-expert in way that makes sense without being condescending.

I believe so; my pension is in the process of being moved, and I now have the benefit of Leanne who will review at least annually and who I can call and talk to about such matters - overall this is costing me less than it would have been to leave my pension where it was

i was looking for a decent income from my savings which i was not getting from my bank or building society,

a friend told me about leanne so we arranged a meeting, She explaned in simple terms (which was just right for me) an investment plan.

yes. almost exactly what i had hoped for if not slightly better.

Initially looking at pension planning. Also then needed improved investment planning, previously done by my bank who stopped this service.

How has Leanne Harris helped you?

Arranged a favourable annuity from a significant pension pot. She advised me about issues around Lifetime earnings optimising my liabilities and has helped with a very productive portfolio for a significant investment sum.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes, despite the best efforts of brexit to disrupt them!

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Both my wife and I retired quite recently (2016) and needed some advice on what to do with our existing savings and the lump sums that we had received as part of our retirement packages.

How has Leanne Harris helped you?

She helped us to make investments that reflected our attitude to risk and also suggested that we might use our lump sums to receive a monthly income until we reached the state pension age.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Over the last 3 years we have been pleased with the performance of our investments and also pleasantly surprised by the level of income that the investment of our lump sums has been able to achieve.

What could they have done better?

Difficult to say- there is nothing obvious. One of our initial concerns about using a financial advisor was that we might be baffled by jargon and complex financial concepts. In fact it has been the opposite. Leanne has gone out of her way to pitch her explanations of the various alternatives at a level we could understand and enable us to make our own judgements of what was best for us.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I wanted to ensure that the two pensions I had with different companies served my needs and my risk level appropriately and offer advice on whether I should take any action to preserve what is in the pensions 5 years from retirement.

How has Leanne Harris helped you?

Leanne was extremely helpful and patient and her approach is very friendly and approachable. Leanne did research into the products I have and where funds are invested and suggested moving to a lower risk fund as I am so close to retirement and do not wish to risk losing significant amounts from my pension whilst still wanting it to grow.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Leanne has helped me to see the funds I have are in a higher risk than I am comfortable with and helped me to move them into a lower risk and reassured me that this is the right move for me and taken away the fear of not understanding all the information on the different funds with the two companies which was overwhelming to someone without a full understanding of financial markets.

What could they have done better?

I cannot think of anything Leanne could have done better. I would definitely use her services again and recommend her to others.
