I initially needed pension advice, seeing as I am at the age where decisions need to be made.

Marcus not only helped with pension advice, but carried out a financial review ( savings, income, expenditure etc.

Yes, seeking advice from Marcus gave me a clearer indication of where we need to be with retirement. The outcome of what is required, merely confirming my initial thoughts. The financial advice given , made things clearer and, gave a much needed nudge on the direction we needed.

What could they have done better?

I couldn't fault Marcus for the service given. All options regarding pensions and general finance were discussed, in detail in the initial meeting and then, at a second meeting within a few weeks, the recommendations were presented to us. At no point did Marcus try to advise us to invest in anything we didn't want, or wasn't suitable to our needs.
