I had been with an individual long-standing financial adviser for many years. This adviser decided to semi-retire and transferred his clients to Sarah Hogan's company, KBA. Sarah has been our adviser since the merger.

Whereas our old adviser concentrated on the performance of investments, Sarah has also looked at our personal needs and developed actions in this area.

How has Sarah Hogan helped you?

Sarah has structured activities to address aspects such as loan trusts and a whole life policy to help protect our children regarding inheritance tax and hopefully to ensure they receive a usable inheritance. In addition to this Sarah has restructured my pension investments to suit current conditions.

Sarah and her team have been very helpful and effective and I don't believe we could have received a better service elsewhere.

Initially it was purely mortgage advice, then pension advice and now overall financial planning. I had received poor financial advice from other advisors in the past resulting in the loss of all previous investments or so I thought, having spoken with Sarah she offered to investigate and I was able to recover a significant portion of my original investment. I was impressed by Sarah's honesty and openness as well as her obvious knowledge in the sector and have since been rewarded by the support of Sarah and KBA in building towards a much stronger financial future.

Illness unfortunately forced my early retirement, as result I needed to release my company pension early but still maintain funds for my family in the future. A great worry to me, which on top of my illness, was something I didn't need at that time.

Sarah has provided me with friendly help and advice for 15 years or more. In that time she has always been helpful making positive recommendations for my long-term planning and we have been successful in making the right moves at the right time - even when I've been a little slow to make decisions. There has never been any pressure other than a gentle nudge to make decisions. I regard Sarah as a friend to whom I can turn for sensible, cautious (my view on investment) advice. She has always taken time to understand our family position and offer options appropriate to our situation.

Yes! Our family has some simple but specific needs and these have been dealt with achieving a positive outcome.
