What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

We are in a world of constant changes and financial ups and downs of which some are totally out of my league and understanding. I wanted some professional advice from someone who is an expert in the field of finance, savings and investments

Yes. Under the current financial restraints and my financial goals we are all under I cannot wish for a better result

I was recommended to Sarah originally when looking for advice on managing my Mother’s investments after implementing Power of Attorney when she went into a nursing home.

In all honesty …… I’m struggling to answer the question so I guess that’s my answer !!!!!

We needed a plan for retirement, and advice on investments

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

My wife and I wanted to plan for an early retirement and review what plans we had.

How has Sarah Hogan helped you?

Yes Sarah has enabled us to retire early. My wife was made redundant earlier than we planned to retire and Sarah safe guarded our plans to ensure we could retire earlier than planned. We reviewed all our investments and pensions and organised them so they would provide the best financial return without exposing us to unnecessary financial risks.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes, we both are now retired although I undertake some consultancy work. All our pensions and investments are performing well and we have a a lifestyle we thought would not be possible 5 years ago. We worked closely with Sarah to make the right decisions to enable a balanced portfolio of investment decisions to be made.

What could they have done better?

I can’t think of anything. Some decisions we made were a little scary and the markets have been quite volatile over the past 4 years but having Sarah and her team at the end of a phone to speak to has been invaluable. With Sarah’s advice we have made the right decisions.
