What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

To safely invest the inheritance of my late husband's estate.

He worked out a financial plan which I easily understood and followed up respectively. He made sure that there is an element of income to support me for the duration of my life.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

My current ISA was consistently losing money a situation that required fixing but I didn't possess the knowledge to know how to correct the situation. So I looked for someone to advise me.

How has Graeme Inglis helped you?

Graeme helped me by advising me to move my ISA to a new provider (as my current one wasn't preforming well a fact backed up by other sources), completing the application form so all I had to do was sign it, and fill in the Direct Debit Mandate.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

As my new ISA is in process of being set up I can not say if I seen the outcome I am hoping for with regards to investment growth, rather than loss.

Assurance and confidence......and his realistic assessment of financial situations in the UK. In these difficult and confusing times, he continues to be frank and open as to the current financial situation.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes and No.....I think that this is a ridiculous question, given how the Covid pandemic altered normal working systems; and how the acceptance of Brexit has fractured ...at the least... the wellbeing of the devolved nations. The only aspect of 'YES' here is that, hopefully, the devolved nations of the UK will see the denial and, indeed, the betrayal of Scotland, Wales and N. Ireland by the alleged 'devolution' that has ever been incorporated in the Union of the Parliaments (1707). (An aside: there is considerable irony in the fact that the English crown of 'Good Queen Bess' was inherited by the Scottish James VI (of Scotland) = James Ist (of England)....as it has now led to a once-sovereign Scotland becoming a minion amongst nations! This, above all, has relentlessly diminished both the potential foresight and judgement of any financial adviser.

Found a efficacious spell to bring Independence to Scotland (appreciated : unfair request!)

The NHS provided a seminar and access to a financial adviser to my wife as part of retirement planning and access was available to spouses too. I had a couple of old pensions hanging about needing looked at so contacted Graeme’s firm.

Graeme’s advice and support enabled me to transfer the old pensions into SIPP and establish a savings wrap. He supplies monthly newsletters and an annual review with advice to keep things on track or respond to market changes.

Over approx 8 years there has been a good growth in overall provision with obviously recent results not being so good due to Russia’s war and general worldwide economic conditions.
