I needed some advice with regards to transferring and setting up a new pension and Richard came highly recommended to me.

I had reached 55 and wanted to get some advice around access some of my Pension fund.

How has Richard Girvan helped you?

He was able to talk me through my pension fund and the options that were available to me. Although this is an area that I would not have a lot of knowledge around, he went through it all in a way that I could understand and feel comfortable with any decisions to be made.

Richard was recommended to me . We (my husband and I) found him extremely knowledgeable and up-to-date regarding financial matters. He was approachable, his manner was professional and his interpersonal skills were excellent. I had previously engaged the service of a financial adviser that was affiliated to another network. Despite original positive engagement with that adviser/network, i quickly became disillusioned with the quality of advice and the lack of engagement that had been promised.

How has Richard Girvan helped you?

From the outset, Richard has spent time to properly engage with me, to analyse my financial position and to genuinely seek to understand what my financial goals are. Richard's has demonstrated great expertise, incredible knowledge of products and risk and has provided me with guidance as to how to match my risk profile with what i would like to achieve with long term investment planning. Richard's engagement with me has not ended with the initial 'on boarding' and i feel that he is pro active with respect to continual appraisal of my financial needs rather than being just a number on a spreadsheet.

Yes. I feel that my investments are in the right place and are being properly managed. I am grateful that i have have an expert who is available to me who has taken time to understand my financial position and long term goals.

Nothing. At all times, Richard has been clear in all communications to me. He has fully explained the products available to me, the risks of investments and the market and has kept in touch to ensure that i am getting the best of the services available to me.
