Although my initial meeting Gary was very helpful and knowledgeable and hope to be using his services in the future.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I was coming up to retirement age and needed somebody to explain my options.

How has Gary Lee helped you?

He explained my options and advised me on each one.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

I retired 6 weeks ago and am just in the throes of adjusting to my new situation. Gary has fully understood this and has set up a couple of meetings over the next few months so he can make adjustments if and when required.

What could they have done better?

Good question and I would like to have something 'constructive' to say but, accepting that it is early days for me he seems to have done everything 'to the book'. Every time I have met Gary there has been a letter or email follow up within a couple of days to summaries what was said which is very helpful because it is all fresh in my mind.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Consolidation of occupational pensions.

Set up new pension scheme and transferred funds to the new scheme.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Everything is now well organised and offers me the flexibility that I need.

What could they have done better?

Nothing obvious

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I had received some poor financial advice concerning my personal pensions from an organisation called Aspinal Chase based in Manchester. They advised that I transferred my schemes into one operated overseas from Gibraltar which quickly ran into problems when (fortunately as it happens) the Gibraltar FCS froze the funds whilst investigating the firm in which the money was to be invested.

How has Gary Lee helped you?

I contacted Gary at Mulberry Financial explaining the circumstances and to my delight Gary managed to resolve the situation negotiating with the FCS in Gibraltar and a financial advisor based in the country to have my funds returned to the UK into a scheme he set up with the Prudential.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

I am now in a much improved situation with my funds in a UK scheme that is regulated by the Financial Services Authority in the UK that offers protection and security for my funds and peace of mind.

What could they have done better?

Gary communicated with me very well throughout the entire process taking time to thoroughly explain the process in simple to understand language. I can't think of anything Gary could have done better and I would not hesitate to recommend the services of Gary and Mulberry Financial.

How has Gary Lee helped you?

Gary has always been helpful and given me advice on matters I would normally not have known about. I originally thought financial advisers were for wealthy people but now believe everyone should seek independent advice. Money well spent.
