The need to look at the various pensions and investments we had to put together an investment portfolio for our retirement

Bearing in mind the vagaries of the markets and my attitude to risk, I think that it would have been hard to do any better.

We required help with financial planning both in the short and long term with regard to how to maximise our savings across pensions and Isas.

Retirement in 2017. I needed to consolidate multiple pension funds from previous employers, plus 30 years of contributions from my own company. I started over with a new adviser, who retired from practice in 2020, and arranged a seamless transfer to his recommended advisor Jim Knights.
