What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

After selling a rental property last year, the funds went into the bank temporarily and now it was time to invest them more profitably. When researching local IFAs on the internet, I read and compared reviews and kept coming back to Gavin and his wife at Kingsley Wealth Management.

Gavin came to my home twice, once to assess my situation, find out what I wanted to do, gauge the level of risk I was prepared to take and to offer investment advice and ideas. After some weeks of research and contacting ISA providers, he returned to give me a detailed breakdown of his proposed plan.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Gavin has set up a 5 year product that will not only grow, but provide a monthly amount to supplement my state pension. He has also tidied up my portfolio by amalgamating/transferring some existing ISAs that makes perfect sense. When I mentioned making a will, Gavin has recommended and made an introduction to a local solicitor.

What could they have done better?

I am very pleased with the service he has provided. He is very approachable, has a clarity of thought, listens well, is extremely efficient and I’m sure, makes good investments! The fees are reasonable and it is reassuring to know that he will check in annually to monitor the situation. Thoroughly recommend.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I used Gavin for my earlier mortgage and got a really good rate. He contacted me a few months ago, before my rate was due to change, to advise I make some changes in light of the predicted increases in interest rates and utilities etc.

Hugely. Today the rate interest has risen as he advised and because he recommended I take a 5 year fixed rate, it’s great not to have to worry about my mortgage.

Gavin took the time to break everything down and explain things in a way I could understand. No question was stupid and he always gets back to me as soon as he can. He took time to get to know me and what my goals and worrries were so that he could tailor his advice for me. I feel secure in my financial decisions Gavin has helped me make as it’s been explained to me clearly and having took time to chat through my concerns.

Yes, we have a secure plan now and a foundation to build a future on for us and our kids.

I honestly can’t think of anything, Gavin gave a full 360 service.
