What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I felt I was being charged for no advice from my existing financial advisor and Richard was recommended to me by a friend.

How has Richard Maddern helped you?

Supported my pension plans and discussed planning for my retirement. Also invested our monies through ISAs to help us achieve our financial goals.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Richard support "OUR" financial plans which is refreshing. So far so good.

To amalgamate a number of previous emoyers pension plans.

Richard contacted all the schemes and gave me advice as to what to consolidate into one new accessible plan.

Yes, a single plan with easy overview and the planned growth.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

My pension held with a previous employer needed a review and Richard was recommended by a friend.

How has Richard Maddern helped you?

He has transferred over my pension and undertook all the paperwork transfer work so the whole process was seamfree and easy. He talked through each stage and kept me informed of everything. He is always available to advise if I have any queries - if not straight away he will contact through text/email so he will always be on hand if needs be. I am so glad I took his advice and transferred my pension to investments recommended by him - he advised me on certain aspects of my employer pension which I was not aware of and since investing i have been happy with the way in which the funds have performed.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

absolutely. I feel Richard is very professional and knowledgeable and i feel comfortable that my funds are being looked after well.

What could they have done better?

Nothing - am very happy with the service provided.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I was a member of a defined benefit pension scheme and wanted to transfer the money out of the scheme allowing me access when I was ready.

How has Richard Maddern helped you?

Richard helped me withdraw my pension and gave me full access.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Absolutely, I retired at 55 and now living in Cornwall enjoying life.

What could they have done better?

My whole experience with Richard has been fabulous and he couldn’t of done anything any better.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

My previous advisor left the company and I want really happy with the contact that I had with him. Richard had been recommended to me previously by a family member that was really happy with his advice

How has Richard Maddern helped you?

Richard has helped me to draw down my lump sum and take a monthly income. After my cancer diagnosis I was extremely worried and had to make changes to my expression of wish for my pension if something were to happen to me. He also helped me draw up a will very quickly. Always on the end of the phone and I value everything he has done for me
