I was looking for advice in several areas, pension review and planning and investment options for spares cash that was lying around not earning interest. Hence, we thought it investing the money was the best option.

Will recommended and then sorted out the best way to more forward regarding my defined benefits pension, advised on the best option for the initial review and set the process in motion. He also presented a comprehensive investment portfolio tailored to our requirements. Gave clear concise advice regarding the amount to invest and sorted our ISA's.

Yes in terms of how quickly and effortlessly the process of investment was. Not yet in terms of ROI, this is a 5 year plan, hence no expectations as of yet.

We are approaching retirement and also trying to buy a house having sold our previous property. We asked Will to advise us with the best approach to do this. We've had two meetings with him at our home. Firstly, where he gathered the necessary background and information and secondly, where he gave us a comprehensive review of various scenarios. His conclusion and advise at this stage was to do nothing until we had purchased the house. This meant that we will not change any of our pension plans or investments and as a consequence, he will not receive any payment for the time and advice he has given us so far. His research and advice, as well as his polite and engaging nature, has been thoroughly professional. We will ask him again to help us with our pensions and investments when we have found the right house to buy.

As we are getting older and less able to deal with things ourselves it is necessary to have our finances kept up to date.
