I had spotted a serious fall in my investment with Standard Life and Scottish Widdows and no one from my existing financial advice provider had notified me of the reasons for this downturn or completed any annual review. In 2018 I was due to start receiving a pension from a previous employer and due to the complexity of pensions in the UK I decided I needed some specialist advice and after asking for recommendations Ryan’s was the name that most people suggested.

I recently needed advice on an upcoming pension and after several personal recommendations, I approached Ryan who immediately responded and asked for details of the options I had been given After he had reviewed the documents, he made some suggestions and very clearly laid out my options for me. We had a very productive face to face meeting where he went into great detail about the pros and cons of each of my options, after which I felt comfortable and confident enough to make a decision on which option was the best for my personal circumstances. Over the past thirty years or so, we have used a total of four previous advisers, all of whom have come up short in some way or another. This has not been the cased with Ryan, who remains accessible is now with an organisation whose systems are at the forefront of the industry. Early retirement with lump sum and annual income from pension. I needed advice on the most advantageous way to invest money with monthly drawdown such that my pension pot wasn't exhausted before old age pension kicks in.

How has Ryan Phelps helped you?

Ryan was easy to talk to and very approachable. Although I knew virtually nothing about pensions and drawdown planning, Ryan talked me through it with professionalism and patience. He has some quite remarkable modelling software that enables very complex forecasts over many years. This gave me huge confidence in my life choices that I would otherwise not have had. Although tax isn't Ryan's main professional forte he knew enough to provide excellent advice that enabled me to obtain a substantial tax refund from HMRC. Had it not been for Ryan I would never have known of this entitlement.

Yes and more. Ryan helped me to invest at a risk level appropriate for me and the returns have been excellent.
