A liquidity event that meant I needed solid financial planning and wealth conservation assistance.

In SO many ways! Away from the nuts and bolts of investments, returns, diversifying portfolio etc, Sam is like a coach, mentor and friend with so many other matters in life e.g. where to live, teaching kids about money, FX, etc - so many areas.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes, super returns on investments and just a smart, sound advisor that genuinely cares. Even my wife liked him!

What could they have done better?

Support Newcastle Utd instead of Arsenal. Genuinely, nothing.

Initially I received a lump sum and required some advice on the best way to invest it. I am at a pivotal financial point in my life and wanted to ensure I did the right thing.

How has Sam Sloma helped you?

Sam took the time to understand my financial situation and needs. He listened to what I had to say whilst offering his own opinions and advice on what he thought the right thing to do was. Sam has talked me through all stages of the process and tenaciously followed up on ensuring that things get done (such as pension transfers). His advice thus far has been very well received.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Its hard to answe this as we have made a number of longer term investments. However, with what I could realistically expect to this point (good advice, implementing investments etc.,. , I am very happy.

What could they have done better?

I am yet to find fault with Sam and his colleagues!

Sam has been extremely helpful in managing my investments, both from a short term perspective (how to most withdraw money on a yearly basis over the last few years in a tax efficient way) and in planning my retirement. Above all, an excellent asset allocation, which has generated some very healthy returns over the years.
