What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?
We were rapidly approaching retirement with no savings and numerous small pensions. We needed advice on how to consolidate the pensions as well as the best way to invest for our future.
How has Nicola Watts helped you?
Nicola has provided excellent financial advice and guidance as we settle into retirement. She has helped us maximise our investments and enabled us to draw down appropriate sums to have a decent quality of retirement., making adjustments where necessary. She has patiently guided us through the mysteries of inheritance tax planning and ensured that we have been able to provide an excellent future for our grandchildren. More recently as my husband's health ihas deteriorated Nicola has been a great support and provided valuable advice.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?
My employer was privatised, resulting in a windfall from shares owned. I decided I needed professional advice on how to structure my finances, with particular reference to approaching retirement and eventually my children's inheritance.
How has Nicola Watts helped you?
Nicola was able to tidy various sundry holdings and my windfall into a structured plan considering our attitudes to risk and our various future pension entitlements, to ensure that we would have steady cash flow covering our regular needs, and providing flexibility to cover future changes while maximising tax efficiency for eventual inheritance of our estate.
