In 2018 I took early retirement and needed advice on what to do with my workplace pension.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

With the pending arrival of retirement a few years ago I need to compress a number of small pension schemes from different providers into a single scheme with a good return.

Chris and his colleagues where able to identify a single provider with a drawdown option which suited my aspirations for my retirement years. Chris was also take on much of the paperwork burden needed to simplify my financial affairs.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

My pre-assessment sessions demonstrated that I had a very high risk level . Chris convinced me that a lower risk level would produce a good but more stable income during retirement and that has proved to be the case.

What could they have done better?

Initially there were some difficulties because I have a very low IT skill base but Chris and his office team quickly adapted their digitally based procedures and have been able to guide me as necessary through telephone contact and paper generated documents.
