We felt we needed a fresh view on investment planning, and having met Andrew, were pleased with his direct, non-jargon based explanations. He has maintained contact periodically, without being pushy, has always been flexible with appointment times and sent timely summaries of our discussions to back up discussion. He has also researched on our behalf information relating to our pensions, and explained some of the complexities therein.

Andrew has given us really constructive advice on a range of financial matters. He has shown a clear grasp of the family set-up, and of our existing financial situation and has tailored his advice to our circumstances with great clarity and some insight. He explains constructs without the use of jargon, works with us at a pace that allows us to take in unfamiliar concepts and has been helpful in providing analogies and adapted explanations to enhance our understanding when explaining complex issues. Andrew is an extremely personable character, and a pleasure to invite into our home. He has always been cordial, punctual and responds swiftly to requests for assistance. Recently, when trying to set up a mortgage at short notice, he helped pull out stops to get information to us speedily, put us in touch with colleagues to assist and followed up with emails to check if there was anything more he could do. He has maintained contact at appropriate time frames so that we neither feel hounded nor abandoned. We heartily recommend him to anyone else looking for financial advice.

Having had three independent financial advisers through my working life (Andrew being the fourth) I had become use to mediocre and thought that’s what you get nowadays (a bit like bank managers)...however, a fortuitous introduction to Andrew Twomey and without any pushy-ness whatsoever, we happened to have a casual discussion on something financial or other and Andrew shared some insightful stuff - I thought this dude knows his stuff. Modern selling now is all about knowledge share not old fashioned selling skills - just share your knowledge and you create standout for yourself. That’s the thing.... Andrew Shares his knowledge and so differentiates himself from the average. His knowledge (and support) has massively affected my life.....it so happens that I picked up cancer last year (it can happen) but with Andrews foresight and common sense, I was prepared (it’s now one in two of us who will get cancer!!). A tax issue - again Andrew knew the specialist to go to.....in this instance one of the top men at one of the big four. So in conclusion, Andrew is the expert to look after your financial interests......and btw, he’s always there, responsive, pro-active and regularly in touch to keep things on an even keel.
