I have worked within the financial services industry for over a decade with experience within large firms such as Aviva and Vitality and now as an independent adviser. During my time with Vitality I worked alongside all types of advisers from independent to large firms and I feel this has allowed me to take the best features of all approaches to provide the best service to my clients. When it comes to mortgages I find particular fulfilment in helping clients get something they didn't think possible whilst protection allows me to give financial peace of mind should the worst happen. My client base is very diverse ranging from young people just beginning their journey to much older clients completing theirs. It is a privilege and responsibility knowing so much about a client’s private affairs and their hopes and fears and being able to help them realise their dreams and protect their future. I believe the key to being a good adviser is having a reasonable level of technical knowledge but more importantly the ability to listen and connect with what really matters to clients. My home life tends to revolve around my family with my wife and two young girls but when I do get some free time you will find me in the ocean with a surfboard or staying active and enjoying the benefits of living in the Pembrokeshire national park!
