What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I was looking for a financial advisor having been disappointed with the previous two, one of whom was from St James Place. My friends and next door neighbour have been very impressed with having Gordon as their financial advisor which is why I contacted him.

Happily things have been good the the goals are maturing nicely, however in the current uncertain climate Gordon has been invaluable in keeping us on a staedy and realistic path.

Gordon's advice and realisim has been a good counter balance and I can not see how things could bhave been done any better.

I think he has done remarkably well considering it turbulent Financial Times that we live in.

Retirement and making the decision whether or not to take my company pension and invest the pot into SIPP

Yes, I feel financially secure and am able to enjoy retirement with the same level standard of living if not better, than when in full time employment as a senior company executive

What could they have done better?

On the occasions when investments are doing particularly well, it would feel good and satisfying to be told “we are ahead of plan, you could take a bonus lump if you want to?” That might just be me though.

To put savings in a safe environment where they would grow
