About

I specialise in retirement and later life advice. Having started in financial services in 1998, I have both practical experience and technical qualifications. Specifically, I provide independent, tailored advice to individuals, families, attorneys and trustees in relation to investment, planning a sustainable retirement and retirement income options, estate management and inheritance tax planning, division of assets and pension sharing on divorce, and paying for care fees. After 20 years as part of the management team of Springfield Financial Services, in October 2024, the Managing Director retired and Springfield joined the Perspective Financial Group to become Perspective (Springfield). From our office in Preston, I continue to provide a trusted, tailored advice service to all clients. Over the years, in an effort to ensure that I always provide best advice to my clients, I have taken a plethora of exams, achieved various accreditations and won a number of awards. I am a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society (PFS), a Chartered Financial Planner and hold the Society of Later Life Accreditation (SOLLA). I have advanced qualifications in tax efficient investment strategies (including VCT, Business Relief and EIS) and have extensive understanding of trusts/trustee investment having studied the STEP (Society of Trustee Estate Practitioners) Foundation Certificate and worked with Solicitors and Accountants assisting clients. I live in Preston, with my husband and two teenage children. When I am not providing a taxi service to my children, I am an enthusiastic triathlete, competing at various distances, from sprint to IronMan (although never again!). My availability is generally 9-5 Monday to Friday. Perspective (Springfield) can only advise clients based in the UK and we do not have permissions to provide final salary scheme pension transfer advice.
