David helped to move a defined contribution pot to an investment platform that enabled me to obtain a greater income and a secure financial future for my spouse

Definitely, without his advise I would have received a lower monthly income and loss of financial security for my spouse

Nothing, he was exemplary and meticulous in his attention to detail regarding my finances

I had to either take an annuity/pension from my existing pension fund or transfer the fund to another scheme.

David went through everything in detail, answering all my questions in plain english. When I decided what action to take, he made it a straightforward process to transfer the fund and regularly kept me updated with progress. He also advised me regarding the potential of Inheritance Tax in the future.

Yes. The transfer is now complete and I am happy to retain David as my financial advisor.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

My husband was thinking about retiring and we wanted some advise. We also wanted to make a will.

How has David Brocklesby helped you?

David has gone above and beyond to help all our family. He helped our daughter purchase her first home, he helped her secure the best mortgage available and took her through the whole process of buying a home step by step. This is why we chose David to help us with Terry's (my husband) retirement plans. Nothing is too much trouble for David, the frequent telephone calls to him when we were not sure about something, he even put something in place should we need anything whilst he was an annual leave ! Each step of the way, David has talked everything through with us sometimes even having to go over the same thing again if we were unsure or confused. We could not have done this without him.
