My husband and I didn’t feel that we were getting value for money from our existing life assurance provider. Our circumstances had changed substantially over the last few years and we had not kept pace with all the changes.

How has Dan Barnard helped you?

Dan talked us through all the pros and cons of our existing arrangements and then gave us a number of alternatives to consider. Together we whittled these down to the two best options and eventually selected the life assurance that was right for us in terms of covering each other and our children in case the worst happened.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes. Our monthly premiums are much more affordable with very little change to the cover we have in place. We feel confident that our loved ones’ futures are more secure than they were before.

What could they have done better?

Nothing - Dan was approachable, friendly and professional without being pushy. There was no ‘hard sell’ and we always felt in control.

I was initially looking for some advice regarding taking part of the 25% tax free lump sum to put towards clearing the mortgage. Plus, possibly amalamating two pensions into one.

He has reviewed all my current pensions and has advised the best way forward regarding amalgamating two of my pensions which will benefit myself in the future. He has also helped in arranging the transfer of a small amount from the 25% tax free lump sum.
