I had a number of Pensions with a variety of providers and was not sure if I could protect them from deflation, after discussions with Ken Whitworth we decided to take his advise and have not really looked back. Not only did he manage to Freeze the Pensions (To protect from any further deflation) but he advised us to invest the funds where they could give us a reasonable growth rate whilst the risk was within what we had indicated.

How has Ken Whitworth helped you?

He froze existing pensions and transfered them into a Savings Scheme which from July 2012 to July 2019 has seen the them grow by around 35%.

My wife and I were seeking investment advice because our savings were gaining very little interest in the banks, Ken Whitworth was recommended by my parents for whom Ken was managing some investments, and still does to date.

Ken spoke to my wife and I in depth, he spoke about all the risks associated with investing, he assessed our attitude to risk regarding investments and then tailored a package to suit us. Ken understood our financial needs both short and long term and created a portfolio for us with which included both traditional market investments as well as cash bond products which gave us access to cash but more importantly a significantly better return than any bank or building society.

Ken provided advice in setting up the personal pension and income protection policies. That was some 20 years ago and since that time Ken has helped us move to an investment platform which carried lower fees, always offering good financial advice to suit our investment needs and risks. Ken has been able to provide pensions advice and he has taken steps to ensure that he is conversant with the latest industry regulatory practices and rules, this has been of enormous benefit over the years in that Ken has provided long term planning to meet our requirements. I have recently retired and Ken has helped me to consolidate my pensions, again with regulated best practice and sound advice with the result that I have now consolidated the funds under a single platform, which offers daily valuation updates and the ability to use the funds as and when required.

We have worked with Ken over a number of years planning to a retirement date and the results achieved thanks to that planning have been great.

To be honest I am not sure of anything to add in this section. Ken is a very honest type of guy, if he does not know something, he won't make it up, he will say so, check it up and come back to you. Always ready to talk on the phone, happy to call round for a chat and a cup of tea. Gets paperwork back to you, chases up issues. The type of person you could trust and know that he will still be around.
