How has Craig Atkins helped you since your last review?

At the moment it's just been keeping me up to date on political decisions and world economies via his monthly blog. My one to one review date with Craig is set for a few weeks time. So no discussion on my financial affairs has been done as yet. So unable to report.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I had a varied career initially with investments and pensions in various places. I had also had a change of family name to complicate matters. I had totally lost track of my pension and didn't know how to even access some accounts and had no idea how to sort the mess. I sought a financial adviser to consolidate all my investments into to a single, simpler location hopefully also earning me significantly more for my future. I was well aware that it I retired I might struggle to even access my own money and also if anything happened to me my family would be unable to have the money they where entitled to.

How has Craig Atkins helped you?

Craig invested a lot of time and effort consolidating all my funds. By the standards of pensions and investments it was not a huge amount of money however very significant to myself. I am aware that I was far from Craig's largest account but he tackled all my issues professionally and diligently for what I am sure was not a huge return for him. Craig met with myself and my wife multiple times explaining how he was managing my investment. Craig has always been friendly and professional and fully explained how my pension was progressing and improving. Craig was always happy and willing to offer further advice such as the housing.market, plans for the future etc. It has been an absolute to know and work with Craig. You know immediately on meeting Craig that he is a sincere man of integrity who can be trusted.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

I have had to retire early at 61 due to failing eyesight. I have worked most of my career as a paediatric nurse in the NHS. With only my NHS pension I certainly would not of been able to manage financially. Craig's advice and investments on my behalf means that my wife and I now have sufficient funds to manage till I get my state pension and significantly beyond. This shows how a little planning and diligence without great expense and sacrifice can ensure your future. I loved my job and had no plans to retire. However you never know what life has waiting round the corner. I am not now or have ever been a rich man I choose to pursue a different path in life. Now thanks to Craig Atkins I will be able to comfortable enjoy my retirement with my wife.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I required a pensions specialist when I was going through my divorce. Craig came highly recommended to me.

Craig has helped in all aspects of my pension provisions and some general financial advice.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

My outcome has been better than I could have hoped for. Craig has answered any questions or concerns I might have swiftly.

He has told me the best i would get if i wanted an anuity pension and the best time to take that option if i wanted to go that route
