What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I wanted to know whether I was on track for retirement and to take advice on how to achieve this outcome.

How has David Jamieson helped you?

David provided sound advice on consolidating my pensions into a single pension plan. He listened to my requirements and found an ethical fund in which to put my pension pots. He was clear on his reasons for making recommendations, up front about any costs associated with his advice and attentive throughout. Importantly, he gave me confidence that I was in a position to retire providing a breakdown of retirement income year on year. David was extremely personable and professional throughout.

I am delighted with the outcome, as it has meant I can retire with confidence knowing that I have the funds available to do so.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I was coming towards my retirement and wanted to make financial planning as I had made bad investment choices and Received Bad Financial advise in the Past. I badly needed someone to sort out my Pensions which was Transferred OVERSEAS due to Bad advice. I also wanted Advice regarding my wife's Pension and investments.

How has David Jamieson helped you?

First of all he helped me to get my pension transferred back to UK which I was really worried about. He Also got the suitable Pension Providers in the UK which would not been possible without his help. He Also Helped in my wife's Pension and Financial Planning. As I have Retired now, he helped me in my financial planning which would not have been possible without his help. He was professional, Transparent and very good at communicating.

Yes. I am very pleased about the final outcome and the way he handled my financial matters.

Nothing at the moment. I am very pleased with his services so far. I have recommended him to Several of my friends as it is difficult to get someone Trustworthy .

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

My company employed a pensions' adviser who's advice had been impenetrable and boring until David came on the scene. His advice was clear, straightforward and delivered in a way that actually made me take an interest in my finances. When David started his own business I had no hesitation in moving my custom to him.

How has David Jamieson helped you?

He gave excellent one to one advice tailored to my circumstances. He advised my to simplify my investments and grow my pension. My pension pot is now in sustainable investments and thriving.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

David's advice has enabled me to retire when I wanted to, rather that carrying on working through fear of not having sufficient retirement income. A very positive outcome indeed!

What could they have done better?

Nothing. I expect my IFA to be good at investments (just like my plumber should be able to create watertight systems). The difference is that David is a first rate communicator. He keeps me informed, he's on tap if needed and he understands my circumstances, needs and aspirations. I would heartily recommend him to anyone seeking financial advice (and already have several times).

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

The large company I was using proved to be too impersonal and remote for the sort of advisory relationship I required. I felt more like a numbered Bank customer than an Solicitor’s client for example.

How has David Jamieson helped you?

From the moment I joined G7, David demonstrated his professional expertise by restructuring our family portfolios with some outstanding Funds. It was reassuring to be able to speak with him whenever I required and establish a trustworthy connection.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Absolutely. In approximately 2 years, our portfolios increased in value by almost one third due to David’s shrewd choice of Funds.

What could they have done better?

Perhaps by weeding out lack lustre Funds as some point but I say this with tongue in cheek. I am aware of the principles if investment but only as a layman

I recieved various large inheritence payments as well as an income that warranted additional savings and investments. Without any knowledge of the market or methods I approached David for assistance.

How has David Jamieson helped you?

David provided a comprehensive report and projections based on my means and aims. We discussed the timeframe, contributions, rate of return and risk in detail, throughout David provided me with ample information and suggestions that greatly increased my understanding of how my money would be used. After the initial process David has regularly kept in contact through emails, calls and sending across quarterly/yearly reviews of my portfolio that include more projections, estimations and explanations.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

I absolutely have, my previous understand of investments was limited to ISAs and low rate of return savings accounts, I've now seen a steady year on year growth even through a low/medium risk approach.

My only criticism of David would be his handwriting, he really needs to invest in a label maker!
