What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I needed a mortgage to buy a home.

How has Owrang Rahmani helped you?

Finding a mortgage with all the associated process surrounding it and dealing with lenders is not something you want to do on your own. Having someone on the other end of the phone who is helping you through that process is vital and probably one of the best value parts of the whole house buying process. Owrang and his team were great.

There weren't any areas that were not dealt with in a very professional manner.

What could they have done better?

I would have preferred to know of all supporting documents/specific information that was required at the start of the process rather than being informed in stages. Otherwise it was a smooth transfer with no issues.

I had an initial telephone consultation with Owrang during which he provided excellent advice and following that we had a face to face meeting. At this meeting Owrang talked me through the process. He is a great communicator and explained the process clearly as well as providing information on costings, fees and timescale. During the process his team were so helpful and it was very easy to communicate with them.

I undertook a review of my legacy protection / assurance policies, undertaken with my previous advisor, and it was clear the cover and terms were now not suitable for the cover and protection I need today. What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Taking on a lum sum to invest on behalf of my mother to pay for ongoing care .

He has supported me and been super patient as I waited and became frustrated by the courts delays for LPA . Then acted quickly as soon as the LPA was in place . He also advised on the banking system to move the money across as again the high street banks were less than helpful in understanding of LPA.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

AS it is less than a year into the investment I have not yet seen the results although I am happy with the feeling of more security that the monies are being looked after and no longer held in a Bank.

Absolutely nothing could have been improved as the court situation was out of our control so all other info was very clear .

On the plus side, we still managed to complete on your mortgage on the 1st August as planned (with some assistance from you of course). So thankfully you did not incur any additional higher interest costs with your previous lender. We will do better next time :-)
