I have been a financial advisor since 1994, having previously worked as an Engineer, involved in Management, within the Food & Drinks Industry. My particular areas of interest are investments, pensions both pre and post retirement, equity release, and inheritance tax planning. I received accreditation as a Later Life Specialist with the Chartered Insurance Institute in 2016, having achieved continual qualifications since 1994. De Beul Kerr, are working to reduce their carbon footprint, by way of video meetings, client portal, paperless, wherever possible and more importantly, Sustainable & Environmental investing, on behalf of our clients. This is a real passion we all share within the company and in conjunction with our investment partners, Aubrey Capital Management. My client base is extremely varied, ranging from young people, just starting their financial planning journey, to much older people completing theirs. I also advise companies and we work with our charity partner, Cash for Kids. It is an amazing honour & responsibility knowing so much about our client’s private affairs, as well as their hopes, fears and dreams. I believe the key to being a good advisor is having a reasonable level of technical knowledge, more importantly, the ability to listen and care about what really matters to people.
