We were looking at transferring a defined benefit pension and also at equity release on our property.

David advised us on both these issues. He was clear on the advantages and disadvantages of the options available and was easy to talk to. He helped us make a decision and once made the implementation was smooth and trouble free.

Yes, the equity release deal was actually better than we expected and the pension transfer was as expected.

I was made redundant and near to retirement age and I needed advice on how to best use my money purchase pension pot and savings. I hold a POA for my mother and needed advice about investing the funds from her house sale and paying for her care home fees.

David helped me to use my money purchase retirement pot wisely and invested my funds into a SIPP where I draw down a monthly income. David also advised me on how to make best use of of my tax allowance and savings. David has arranged and invested the income from my mothers house sale to maximise and guarantee a regular income to cover her care home fees.

Yes absolutely. I am happy with the advice I have been given and the income I receive. David always replies to messages and aims to help as much as he can. I feel very supported.

What could they have done better?

I cant think of anything. David was recommended to me and I recommend him now as a trustworthy and reliable CFP

I reached 55 and needed advice on accessing my pension and creating a plan for the future

David gave me the information I needed with a forecast for each year how much my pension would give me. Also transferred my 2 pensions into 1 which enabled me to start taking cash out.
