I can’t actually think of anything Frances could have done better as I’m quite happy with the advice I’ve received up to now.

Pretty typical I guess. Moved around a few jobs and getting to a point where it was time to look how I would fare in retirement.

Frances explained the options and did a thorough risk assessment advising me of the pros and cons of consolidation of my pensions including the defined benefit ones. The general advice is stick with a defined benefit pension though one of mine had been sold and bought by what was in fact an asset stripper reducing the pension benefit by half.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes. I now have a consolidated pension in the form of a SIPP that is invested at a risk level that I am comfortable with. Its important to understand that it is my risk with my money and I would have no hesitation in recommending Frances (and Chris her partner) to others. You should regularly check the status of your pension(s)!!

What could they have done better?

I don't think so. Frances is always very switched on and professional in all aspects of her work.

Collate and reinvest various pensions with a view to understanding whether retirement was a doable option

Helped me to understand the process and various options, understood my personal requirements and developed a strategy which ultimately would help to define the decision to retire or not

Yes, absolutely! Service was very professional and personalised, with very good communication at all stages.

What could they have done better?

My requirements were fully understood and taken in to account, each stage was fully explained and the communication was excellent. Any questions were responded to promptly and I felt fully engaged at all times.

due to the covid crisis it took longer than expected.

Planning my retirement and wanted some advice on what to do with a deferred pension that I had.

Francis gave me good sound advice. She looked at my financial postion. Made recommendations although the final decisions were mine alone to make. Deferred pension sorted decisions made and now confident about retiring. Thankyou Francis I had pondered over things for too long!

Very much so. Pensions/investments are not always easy to understand. My pension is now sorted and reinvested. No regrets.
