Please provide a brief comment about your experience with John

Very clear on what he could do, although at this stage of my life I’m not yet ready for his services. We didn’t discuss costs and therefore I am unable to answer any ‘value for money’ questions. Would be pleased to engage his services at some point in the future.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

multiple pension pots, some really small and others deferred. Needed a clear way forward as a director of my own company.

How has John Taylor helped you?

Listened to me. took time to understand what I was looking for. Asked the right questions to establish affordability and my needs (and that of my family). John was really friendly and welcoming and has a relaxed and personable approach towards his clients.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

To take all of the pressure off me, when it came to consolidating my pension pots into the best and most appropriate pension for me. To act on my behalf in an unbiased way. To get the best for me, for my future needs within my financial limit.

What could they have done better?

Perhaps explained the solution, in person (but appreciate that this has been hard under restrictive Covid circumstances) - The documentation was all available and readable, but sometimes people like me don't understand all of the terminology (or even basics)

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

A huge change in my personal circumstances meant I needed to look at my finances, investments and pension planning.

John was extremely helpful assisting with all aspects of financial planning. Explaining things with transparency.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes, I can now access whatever details I would like at the touch of a button and more importantly they are all in one place. As well as pick up the phone to John and his team.

What could they have done better?

John seems to have his service down to a fine art as he's been doing it for so long. So to be quite honest, i couldn't fault anything.
