What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Having been highly recommended by others, my wife and I originally contacted Prosser Knowles six years ago in order to receive general long term financial planning advice, initially around savings and pension investment.

How has Laura Evans helped you?

We were introduced to Laura Evans, a fully qualified financial planning consultant, who was very professional and knowledgeable in providing us with excellent impartial advice. Laura meticulously detailed and explained the various opportunities; benefits and associated risk profiles with each of the various investment options available to us, which were tailored to meet our needs and requirements. Whilst at no time did we feel under any pressure to proceed, we chose to invest in options which we felt fully met our needs and requirements. We receive regular reports and updates highlighting progress with each of our investments. We also have an annual face to face review with Laura to consider and make minor adjustments to each of our portfolio’s, where necessary, to optimise and be as tax efficient as possible in order to maximise our returns.

I am pleased to say that the outcomes have been excellent and, overall, have exceeded initial expectations.

I do not conbsider that anything could have been done any better.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Financial advice regarding inheritance and assistance in setting up Trust funds, setting up a pension on behalf of our daughter and access to current trust and retirement income.

How has Laura Evans helped you?

Laura has provided valuable assistance in advice and help in setting up trusts/bonds and pension for myself and family. She has provided a first class one to one client focused service with personal and customised help with our finances.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

We are happy with the outcome of our investments and pensions and the access we can easily gain to the provided services. We have also been informed that ongoing help and advice is always available for any future queries.

What could they have done better?

Everything went very well. Laura was the third person we met from Prosser Knowles and it may have sped up the process if we had met her from the start but this may be due to personnel reasons within the firm.

I wanted to transfer my defined benefit scheme pension into a personal pension.

How has Laura Evans helped you?

Laura facilitated the transfer by advising me of the benifits and disadvantages and then liasised with the new provider during the transfer process, which was seemless and successful.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Initially yes, the outcome did meet my requirements. Due to external forces the fund has not performed in line with desired expectations.

What could they have done better?

Nothing, the transfer took place at absolutely the right time for the type of investment, which if left unchangedwould have dropped in value considerably.

I first reached out to Laura when I came of age to receive my trust fund and wanted information and guidance on how to invest it responsibly.

How has Laura Evans helped you?

Laura has been my Financial Advisor for the past 6 years and has always provided clear and informative guidance. I first reached out to Prosser Knowles Associates when I came of age to receive my trust fund. I felt a little overwhelmed with such a significant circumstance and I worried about what my options were, with Laura’s help I instantly felt relaxed and certain my finances were being taken seriously. I can easily contact Laura and get my questions answered quickly. She will happily arrange an appointment at a time to suit me that works around my busy life style. Initially she provided me with a few options to peruse which was a free consultation with no strings.
