I initially needed advice on my retirement/pension options and whether an annuity or drawdown might be best for me.

Michael helped me understand the pros and cons of each suitable option taking account of my other assets and income plus the fact that I wanted to ensure my wife was catered for.

I'm not entirely sure. Michael makes things clear and always asks us for our input so it feels like we are making decisions jointly. I cant think of anything he could be doing better.

I had a friend who was an IFA but I didn't want to advise on my whole estate, which is a requirement for financial planning. I therefore had to look externally to someone whom I could trust, who I'd not worked with before, who I could rely on for solid advice and confidentiality.

Michael has helped me consolidate my investments, and simplify my strategy for the future. He was thorough and quick in reviewing my investments, and putting forward a strategy that I could work with.

At present, the outcomes have been positive, and it's going the way I wanted it to go.

I don't think Michael could have done anything better. He's well planned, very personable, worked hard for me, and worked on items that weren't specifically his responsibility, but did it to support me.
