What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?
I was trying to work out whether I could retire if my company didn’t agree to reduce my working hours as I had requested.
How has Mark Thompson helped you?
Knowing that I was meeting Mark meant that I properly gathered all the information about my financial situation before our meeting. Something which I had been putting off for a long time.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Yes as I was not given reduced hours and so have retired!! We are not even 6 months in but I am enjoying being able to see all the investments in one place.
What could they have done better?
Mark asked all the questions to understand how I felt about money and made sure that I had a good buffer. This has left me feeling confident to weather the financial fluctuations that always occur in the markets.
