I was looking for some advice relating to my retirement planning to ensure that my pensions, investments and savings were adequate and to maximise the return on my finances.

How has Nikki Zammit helped you?

Nikki helped me to articulate my retirement plans clearly and then worked through my income and expenditure methodically to illustrate potential future scenarios. The planning was very detailed and took account of various different outcomes, such as working part time, retirement age, types of investments I can make and how much flex my plans would have.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

I am now much clearer on my retirement options and I feel reassured that I have plans in place to ensure my standard of living is maintained even when I reduce my hours and eventually fully retire. I can now stop worrying about finances and enjoy planning my retirement instead.

What could they have done better?

Nothing! Nikki communicated well, he sent me some information before we met so I could have all of the details he needed to hand, and he followed up afterwards. Nikki was very professional and made me aware of any risks that existed, for example my SIPP is in an 'adventurous portfolio', which enabled me to make my own decisions utilising his expert guidance.

I am due to have a child soon and it really hammered home that I really needed something in place to ensure my family's long term future is taken care of.

Nikki spent hours with me running through all the different options available to me. I really wasn't very well educated on this kind of thing so had untold questions but nothing seemed a bridge too far for Nikki and he really did go over and above to make sure all our concerns were addressed before offering advice. The products Nikki advised, and subsequent put in place for us, really made my wife and I feel like our future, and the future of our children, really were in a safe pair of hands and I couldn't be more grateful for Nikki's advice and service.

Nikki took his time in explaining what needed to be done/ how long it would take.
