What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

As I am approaching retirement, I wanted to consolidate my defined contribution pension plans into a single plan which I can manage myself going forwards, taking drawdowns as/when needed.

Tony talked through my overall retirement options with me, checked my existing DC plans, confirmed that none offered drawdown, and helped me transfer all three into a single new pension plan with a drawdown option. He also organised an initial drawdown for me, going the extra mile to ensure the funds were paid into my account on time, despite a delay caused by one of my previous pension providers.

Yes - Tony explained my options clearly and responded to all of my queries promptly. He acted quickly and efficiently to transfer three of my DC pension plans into a single new pension plan with drawdown, then to organise an initial drawdown. I found Tony and his PAs, Claire and Tayla, friendly and easy to engage with throughout the process, which went very smoothly. I have no hesitation in recommending Tony to others, and I have already passed on his details to a couple of my friends !

What could they have done better?

I don't think there is anything Tony and his team could have done any better as I am very happy with the advice and service I received.

Tony was excellent he gave impartial advice and explained each option available to us. when we made a decision he facilitated the whole process from start to finish and kept us fully informed. He was very friendly and easy to reach if we had questions made the whole process smooth and was very quick. I has 2 very old pensions that were complex and needed specialist advice as I was getting nowhere trying to navigate this minefield.

Tony explained all options available given the types of pensions I had and explained in detail the reason behind why they were complex. Tony took away all the stress and anxiety and proceeded to achieve transferring two complex pensions into a more suitable pension scheme to meet my needs. I was constantly updated of progress and the timescale given by Tony was spot on.
