What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I've worked for myself for most of the last 15 years or so but hadn't really thought about my pension. I did have an existing pension from a company I worked for both prior to this and mid way through but it was just sitting there sad and unloved. After talking to a friend / ex colleague about his pension from the same company I decided to seek advice. Dai was one of two IFAs recommended to me by my accountant.

How has David Rose helped you?

Dai looked over my exsiting pension and after going through a fact-finding process and several telephone conversations advised me to transfer my existing pension pots to a SIPP that I can continue to contribute to myself.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

So far everything has gone swimmingly. My pension is consolidated in one plance and I'm able to contribute to this going forward and keep track of how it is doing. As for whether i get the outcome I'm hoping for. You'd better come back to me in 6 or 7 years!

What could they have done better?

Assuming you mean avoiding the realm of fantasy, probably not much.

I wasn’t as well prepared as I am now so required professional advice which Dai delivered.
