I went to see Gavin to seek clarity, but I was more confused when I left than when I arrived. Ultimately his advice couldn't be truly independent as he was trying to get me to buy their services & products. I have since seen other FAs who have given me different advice.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?
Redundancy and early retirement.
How has Gavin Roberts helped you?
Gavin explained everything I needed to know in great detail, but it was very easy to understand. There was no pressure whatsoever and Gavin was always available to discuss any queries I had. He was very re-assuring, explaining the various pension options that were available to me.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Most definitely. It's just over a year since I chose Gavin to consolidate my pensions. The communication from Gavin and his team throughout the last twelve months has been excellent. i can now enjoy my retirement with my wife, knowing that my pension is in safe hands.
What could they have done better?
Nothing whatsoever.

Gavin provided me with details of the charges that would be involved along with a good understanding of the information that I needed to go away and think about my pension. Although I have decided to take my pension as it stands, my husband will be approaching Gavin for his services when his time comes for pensions advice.
