Please provide a brief comment about your experience with Jessica

Jessica took the time to understand mine & my husband's financial position and what our goals are. She gave us plenty of things to think about, but what I most liked was her honesty. She's absolutely not about trying to make money from potential new clients unless she can really help you financially. We probably left it a bit too late to seek advice, meaning that we wouldn't have sufficient time to realise any benefits. I would definitely recommend Jessica as someone who is completely impartial and has your long term financial interests at heart

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Retirement of previous adviser and past dealings with Jessica in her earlier employment with a major insurance and investment company before she became independent. Death of father and inheritance issues arising. Need for investment advice regarding surplus income, and management of earlier investments. Inheritance planning for children and grandchildren.

Jessica has advised me and my wife in all of the above areas.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

We were not seeking any specific over-arching outome, simply to have ongoing advice and support as and when needed. This has certainly been achieved.

What could they have done better?

There is no aspect of her work on which we were dissatisfied and would have hoped for better.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Retirement is on the horizon and with my limited knowledge of the whole pension process, and after speaking with ex work colleagues, I realised I could not make the correct decisions alone and manage this without expert advice.

How has Jessica Shukie helped you?

Jessica has been invaluable for me, and having her guiding me through what I can only describe as the "pension minefield" has been by far the best financial decision I've ever made. On my first appointment we simply had a chat, and I knew straight away that I'd made the right decision. I explained to Jessica that I was clueless where finances were concerned and she'd have to explain everything to me in a very simple terms, she has gone out of her way to do this. She takes everything I say on board then does everything she says she'll do, and more, she also keeps in contact with me on a regular basis letting me know where things are at, I can't fault Jessica in any way.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

I've actually seen much more than I was hoping for, and very quickly, there's no way I would have got to the stage where I am today without Jessica's help.

I can assure you, absolutely nothing.
