Initially it was to assist me with various pensions and Isas, I had no clue what was best for me, the help and advice I received was clear, constructive and all questions asked were answered to my benefit and Gerry was/is a pleasure to deal with.

With my pensions, which were a weight on my mind, Gerry has eased the problem and I feel happy that my finances are in a good place.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Ongoing, as not taking pension benefits yet, but I can see that they are going the right way for my retirement future.

What could they have done better?

Nothing, Gerry is easy to work with, nothing is too much trouble, I feel if I have a question he is happy to assist me, which it very reassuring.

Gerry was very accommodating to my diary requirements, explained things in an easy to understand way, helpful and patient (especially as i wasn’t the quickest at returning forms!) Gerry offered both face to face or video appointments to suit my needs. He made me feel at ease asking the right questions and making me feel comfortable to ask any I had.

We needed to review and consolidate our different pensions and investments. This included starting to draw our pensions, as well as planning for the future.

Inheritance Tax We consulted Gerry Balance about Inheritance tax. He dealt comprehensively with what, for most people, is a very complicated subject. He explained the ups and downs and whys and why nots of the Tax and provided a list of options relative to our situation. He was patient and generous with his time and is nailed on personable

I was investigating the possibility of retiring early and sought advice about pensions/financial planning.

Gerry was incredibly helpful. I was clueless and so anxious about the whole pension situation. Gerry was patient and logically went through all my options on MS Teams and followed it through afterwards with a summary via email. Knowledgeable, logical, patient and clear in his approach. Highly recommended.

I have clear information from Gerry to make empowered choices. I feel happy about the decisions I have made and know Gerry will be there when I need any further advice in the future.
