Please provide a brief comment about your experience with David

I needed advice about investing the proceeds of a property sale. David was very helpful and easy to understand. I feel confident that his suggestions will help me to achieve a good return on my investment.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I wanted to change from a zombie pension fund to one that would be a better option for my circumstances. I also needed advice with regard to making a bank pension more accessible for early retirement requirements.

How has David Tout helped you?

For the zombie fund, David recommended a company that took into account how much risk I was prepared to take and completed the transfer quickly and efficiently. In relation to the bank pension, he recommended a company that had lower charges and was performing well in the recent climate.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Unfortunately, due to the market decline from Covid, the loss for my pension has not bounced back, but David is in contact. Discussion and a review is underway so that I can make an informed choice for my next move. The bank pension transfer is performing well.

What could they have done better?

I believe I've had the best advice that could be offered at the time.

I found Dave to be very knowledgeable and more importantly approachable in discussing the service I require

I was due to retire in the near future and was looking for advise on how to best utilise my company pension

How has David Tout helped you?

I was already thinking along the lines of taking the pension away from the company due to the cash transfer value being offered. He was able to support this decision following a review of my new circumstances and other investments/savings. He was also able to make suggestions that would help with maximising investments in the future for both myself and my husband.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Appreciate that the Corona virus pandemic has has an impact on the pension but can still see the benefit especially as we have the potential to add monies to the new pension which would not have been possible before.

What could they have done better?

At this moment I cannot think of anything.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Initially as was at pensionable age but still working, I had some private pensions that I needed to make decisions about. I contacted David in order to get some independent advice.

How has David Tout helped you?

His open manner and professionalism struck me as someone who could be relied upon and so I decided to take his advice on where to invest my pension. Since then both my wife and I have used his professional knowledge to obtain other financial services and a mortgage. David has been very helpful, especially given that the house buying process in this country is so long winded and subject to change at short notice.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes. definitely.

What could they have done better?

Not sure at this stage how his service could be improved as it is currently very good.
