In truth it is too early to see any outcome. That said I have great confidence in the advice, am comfortable with taking that advice and see no reason that the outcomes predicted will not be achieved.

What could they have done better?

When my previous adviser ceased I looked at a number of financial services businesses but Richard Peters and Fortitude were head and shoulders above the others. The family atmosphere of the team, its speed of response and the quality of the support is such that I have no idea how they could do better.

My husband’s retirement.

We first instructed FFP around 8 years ago when my husband decided to take early retirement, Chris Bowmer took on our portfolio and talked us through all of our options and offered fantastic advice and support where we needed it. Fast forward, Richard is now our advisor and again his advice and support has been equally fantastic. From the minute you walk into the office, there is a warm welcome from all the staff with coffee on arrival. The meetings are very well structured and Richard (as was Chris) is always open to questions and diversions! The visuals and software that FFP uses is easy to understand and they are always happy to talk you through any parts that you don’t quite understand. Following the meeting, an email arrives we’ll within 24 hours and they are accurate and easy to read through and it’s obvious what FFP require you to do (if only we were as efficient getting these jobs done and back to them!). FFP have made us think about our financial future, made us think about making the most of our investments and also made us realise that we need to live for today safe in the knowledge that our specific future financial plan is in place.
