When we contacted you to booked you said you were happy with a remote meeting which is why we carried it out that way. It’s a shame to receive a lower rating for something that we do offer and provide but hopefully this helps to clear it up for the future.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I needed to sort my pensions, at one time I had 4 or 5 separate ones 1: I wanted to arrange a 25% withdrawal because I was at that point at the age to take tax free. 2: wanted to consolidate the remaining Pensions.

Paul came and we discussed all options along with other financial advice and planning.

Yes very much so and more. Paul has been a fantastic honest and open Financial Adviser. Paul understands the Fiscal World totally therefore his advise is taken on board every time we need to disgust any financial issues.

I can honestly say that everything was done and executed perfectly therefore I can't suggest that anything could be done better.

Paul has been extremely clear and thorough in terms of advising the best route to grow my pension so I can reach my objective to have an option to retire earlier as per set goal. Obviously this has to be realistic that I can contribute accordingly to grow that pension. Paul organised multiple meetings to go through the process, explain what he was proposing, why and ensure I understood all his points. I felt very reassured and confident about my decision to go with him.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Originally I had 4 or 5 different pensions, it was in bit a mess really, difficult to managed and to know long term exactly how to deal with them as I needed to raise some capital for a major improvement for our business. Only thing I knew was I could take out 25% tax free as I was at that age. So needed a professional and Paul came highly recommended!!

How has Paul Grey helped you?

Paul helped me considerably, I could not have done it on my own for sure. Paul liaised with each pension provider and managed to transfer all of them into one manageable platform, which Paul still advise and monitors, so therefor I know my pension is in good hands. Also Paul advises on all aspects of financial planning for me and I know its sound unbiased advise.

Yes I sure have, absolutely fabulous work. Also Paul explains everything in a way that one can understand the financial world far better.

What could they have done better?

I can honestly say 'nothing' 100% Although its not asked, It is so imported to have a true professional registered FA because you hear of so many horror story's of so many people losing so much, life savings, pensions etc.

We were introduced to Paul's predecessor by a mutual client. Our mortgage, investments and pensions badly needed sorting out at that time. We have stayed with TFA since then.

I wanted to see if it would be possible to retire early.

How has Paul Grey helped you?

I wanted an IFA who was also a Chartered Financial Planner to help me get my financial affairs in order and after talking to several from the "VouchedFor" website I chose to engage Paul. My immediate concern was whether it would be possible for me to retire early and Paul spent a lot of time talking to me and reviewing all my pensions/ISAs/investments and then came up with a detailed plan to help me achieve my goals. We talked this through to make sure I was comfortable with everything and then he did all the necessary work to move investments around. We are now about to have our first annual review to make sure things are on track and to tweak details if required. Right from our initial contact, Paul has been very thorough with his reviews/analysis and he is very responsive and available when I have questions, always replying to emails within hours of me sending them or arranging a meeting if required. He is very organized and on top of everything which has been a source of re-assurance for me as this is such an important area of my life to get right. Paul is very easy to communicate with and is very patient, being happy to explain things several times over until I am comfortable. Between Paul and Philly (Philly is Paul's assistant) I feel very well supported in my financial affairs.

It is too early to comment on the performance of my investments but I am extremely happy with how things have gone so far in getting to this point.
