What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I was at retirement age and due to the changes experienced in my working life now had both DB and DC pensions. The question was what to do with these efficiently and effectively now that there is also greater pension freedom. A friend was an existing customer with an IFA that they were happy with and recommended. That's how I came to meet Louise.

How has Louise Fitzgerald helped you?

I find that Louise does listen carefully to what I'm saying and is quick to identify what is important to me and develop her understanding of my goals. In turn this helps me to turn my thoughts into strategies.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

The journey continues and we are making good progress. I expect to work with Louise for years to come.

What could they have done better?

I've recently bought an annuity due to it being good value for me (enhanced) at this time. It took a little longer to process than I had expected, probably for Louise too. However, value was delivered as set out. Something to remember for next time.

Louise was really helpful in taking time to give advice and guidance in relation to a pension matter, something i have very little knowledge of.. Her advice has assisted me and provided the appropriate questions to ask. I really appreciate her help, was very useful

Years ago I inherited some money and wanted to make sure I used it wisely to enable me to have a financial secure future.

Louise took over the care of my account at her previous employers. She has continued to advise me with regard to my pension and reassuring me that I would be able to afford to give up full time employment.

Yes I gave up work and have been able to enjoy my life.
