I was in a position where I thought that my main Pension provision was sufficient but wasn’t certain as to how long it would last at my current withdrawal rate . I also wanted to talk through my very elderly mothers care costs and providing for my daughter in a tax efficient way

Andrew has helped clarify my financial health situation in an objective and easily understood way by Providing cash flows with a number of scenarios . He also gave Pragmatic advice as to whether to change provider or leave where it was . Now appointed he liaises with the provider and explains any tax implications to me in an easy to understand fashion . He has a nice sense of humour , is approachable , authentic and a seasoned professional , providing me with the facts on which I can make decisions. There is absolutely no hard selling technique which I appreciate . This month , as my fixed mortgage expired , he also referred me to their mortgage colleague who likewise met me very quickly and organised a mortgage which will cost me a lot less than I had anticipated

Yes . My objectives were . 1) Is my main money in the right fund , according to my appetite for risk ? 2) will it last subject to my early retirement ambitions ?

Approaching retirement, I was concerned that I had 5 separate pension schemes, and needed advice re: the best course of action.

He advised me to consolidate 4 separate pensions into a new policy with Met-Life. I decided to continue with an employer's final salary scheme with the Horserace Tote Board, rather than accept a lump sum transfer of funds into the consolidated Met-Life policy.

Yes. However the advice received was prior to the government's major decision to introduce drawdown options. Had I been aware of the changes in the pipeline I might have opted to stay with my original pension providers.

I still worry about "putting all my eggs in one basket".
