My pension was with a company that we’re not very helpful

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I had more than one pension that I felt was under performing and not really enjoying much growth. Gordon was able to easily consolidate my pensions and the growth has been really strong. I had one pension that was not beneficial if it was transferred and Gordon recognised this did not try to do something that would not have been right.

How has Gordon Wills helped you?

Gordon has offered guidance and support and hasn't tried to push a particular agenda. He has listened to me and offered sensible suggestions for pension strategy that take into account my specific circumstances. He has never simply tried to go for solutions that clearly offer the larger commissions. He's also not afraid to explain the longer position in times of market turbulence and during my years with Gordon two financial storms have been successfully weathered without panic.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

I'm still some way off retirement but so far the outcomes achieved have exceeded what I think could have been reasonably expected at the outset.

What could they have done better?

It's difficult to say what could have been better. Hindsight will always allow you to think about potential investment trends that could have been exploited but I think the investment approach has been really good for me.
