My focus is to make sure you achieve and maintain the lifestyle that you want, ensuring that you do not run out of money for the whole of your life. I will help you visualise your financial future, and understand what your ‘figure’ is, the point when you have enough in the bank to get that lifestyle you dreamed of. And I keep doing this again and again and again until you have the life that you want. I have spent most of my career in Financial Services, beginning in insurance at Lloyds of London, before moving into Financial Advice with Scottish Amicable and then Scottish Life. In 1999 I co-founded Baker Gladstone & York with my brother Peter, and remains one of the Financial Advisers to this day. I am particularly skilled at reviewing old pensions and explaining options to clients. This is the part of the job I enjoy most: getting to know you, helping you to understand what you’ve got and to formulate a plan so that you can feel confident about your future.
