I had recently inherited some money and I am also looking to retire in the next 3-5 years so needed advice on the best way to invest and also to review my pensions and see if I needed to increase my contributions

Nothing- Charles was very approachable and explained everything in a way I could understand, especially as I had a limited understanding of the stock markets etc. He used a whiteboard to help me visualise what he was suggesting which was really helpful. He was very knowledgeable which gave me a lot of confidence .I didn't feel rushed or under any pressure to make a decision .

I had inherited some money and I was looking to invest this for the future

Charles talked me through options re investments in stocks and shares, something I knew very little about but was I keen to understand.

It’s too early to say how the investments will perform however I am new to investing but felt at ease with Charles’s knowledge, he answered all of our questions with clarity and professionalism and his guidance has given me confidence in my investment choices, I also appreciated the transparency in fees.

What could they have done better?

So far so good, we will wait to see how the investments perform.

I had a number of pensions from previous employers that I believed would be better managed in one place and by a bespoke advisor
