I have worked as a financial adviser since 2007. I specialise in helping people who have reached a point in their lives where they want to take stock of their finances in preparation for retirement and beyond. This involves using a range of strategies designed to reduce INHERITANCE TAX, make the most of their RETIREMENT SAVINGS, build their RETIREMENT PLANS and invest in an ETHICAL WAY. Our specialist service can also include restructuring your Will to offer protection for the next generation. I am a Chartered Financial Adviser and hold specialist qualifications in taxation and trusts, Enterprise Investment Schemes (EIS), Long Term Care Funding, Equity Release and pension transfers. I achieved my Chartered status in 2014 whilst working full time; choosing to do the required study each morning before starting work. ‘I believe that if you are going to advise people on ONE of the most important things in life after family, you should be the best you can possibly be at it’. Due to my specialist skills in estate and retirement planning my clients are typically in their mid to late 40’s and beyond. I feel it is a great privilege to have worked closely with so many clients and their families over so many years. I have lived in the area in which I serve all my life, so it is even more important to me to continue to offer outstanding service to my local community and beyond. I believe that the key to being a good adviser is having a high level of technical knowledge but more importantly to have the ability to listen and connect with what really matters to people. My spare time tends to revolve around my family, the gym and my two pet cats! I also enjoy the occasional meal out, followed by a trip to the cinema or a show.
